Issue: Why target Champs fetes?

The Editor, Sir:

I am writing about the ban on celebrations for the Boys & Girls' Champs next weekend. I find it very odd that the police are targeting the children on the island because they are young and it would make them seem like they, the police, are doing a good job. Championships is one of the largest sports celebrations in the island and I feel it will miss some of its flavour without the celebrations.
